Exchanges, Returns, and Cancellations

Barriguitas respects the right of free withdrawal provided for in applicable law and offers its customers a simple process for requesting cancellations, returns, and exchanges.

How to Request a Cancellation, Exchange, or Return

To submit a request, the customer must select the “Exchanges, Returns, and Cancellations” option available at the bottom of the online store.

You will then be redirected to your customer account, where you can view your orders.

For each order, you will find the following options:

  • Cancel the order, if it has not yet been processed;
  • Request a return or exchange, after the order has been processed and shipped.

After submitting the request, the customer will receive the necessary instructions to complete the process.

Return Period

The customer has 14 days after receiving the order to exercise their right of withdrawal and request a return of the purchased items.

Conditions for Acceptance

For a return or exchange to be accepted, the items must:

a) Show no signs of use beyond what is necessary to verify their nature, characteristics, and functionality;

b) Retain their original characteristics;

c) Be returned complete, including all accessories, tags, and items that accompanied the order, when applicable;

d) Be properly packaged for shipping.

Barriguitas reserves the right to reduce the refund amount if the items show signs of depreciation resulting from handling that exceeds what is necessary to verify their characteristics and functionality.

Exchanges

Barriguitas offers the option to exchange for a different size of the same model, subject to stock availability.

Exchanges will not be made for:

  • A different color;
  • A different model;
  • A different product;
  • Items from different collections.

If the requested exchange is not possible, the customer may choose to return the item in accordance with this policy.

Shipping Items

Items may be returned using the method indicated during the return or exchange process in the customer area.

Products must be properly packaged to ensure they are protected during shipping.

Shipping Costs

Returns

Except in cases provided for by law or in the case of a defective or non-conforming item, the shipping costs associated with the return are borne by the customer.

Exchanges

The shipping costs for sending the item to Barriguitas’ facilities are borne by the customer.

Once the exchange has been validated and accepted, Barriguitas will cover the shipping costs for the new size.

Refunds

Upon receipt and validation of the returned items, Barriguitas will issue a refund via the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

The refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days from the date the return is reported; Barriguitas may withhold the refund until it receives the returned items or proof of their shipment, whichever occurs first.

Defective or Non-Conforming Items

If an item has a manufacturing defect or any non-conformity covered by the legal warranty, the customer must report the issue through the customer portal.

In such cases, Barriguitas will cover the costs associated with pickup, return, repair, replacement, or refund, in accordance with applicable law.

Ineligible Returns

Barriguitas reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet the conditions described in this policy.

In such situations, the customer will be informed of the decision, and the items may be returned to the specified address, with the customer responsible for the associated shipping costs.
